My raptor is running too rich. How do I know whether to re-jet or adjust the mixture srews? I'm not sure what size jets I have now. My plug is almost black after only 4 hours of riding. Thanks in advance.

I actually had the same problem... You will need to rejet most likely. I went with a jet kit from K&N which is produce for them by Dynojet. The only thing is that the clip setting is to low. The directions will say the 4th spot down from the top, but you will want the 2nd spot down from the top on both needles. I got this info from dynojet after my machine was still running rich. With the same basic mods as yours. White Bros. silencer, Prodesign filter kit, and K&N jet kit.

Thanks for the reply, 13. I guess i'll jump into that this weekend (bummer). I normally ride at Dumont and its supposed to be 60-65 degrees this weekend during the day. Jetting is something I've never done so I'm sure going to be referring to oackland1980's jetting pics he posted a month or so ago.
