Raptor Engine Problem
#1
hy friends from all over the world !(i call from europe and my english is not the best ;-)
i have a new raptor since one week. i have driven round 200 miles. sometimes (not very often) i have the following problem: when i drive to a street-crossing, use the breaks and try to give the first gear in (from the second / with gas) the engine makes "clack" and it's over. When i press the start button it runs normally for the next time.
Its very interesting because the engine does'nt get wrong air from anywhere - everything is correct i think. Its not often but this can't be normal ?!
I only drive on the streets in the city with this vehicle !
Has somebody else this problem ??
Thank u friends !!!

Do I understand you correctly...
<< use the breaks and try to give the first gear in (from the second / with gas) the engine makes "clack" and it's over >>
...you are "power shifting" down? If so, to stop or slow down you must pull in the clutch, do not give it any gas and wait for your speed and the rpm's to drop way down before shifting down to first gear. Once you have shifted to begin accelerating first slowly release the clutch while giving more throttle.
Your transmission will not last to much longer if you give it gas while you down shift, that goes for any vehicle.
