i am looking into buying a warrior or a 300ex. but i have heard good stories and reviews on both. i heard also that the warrior is better for a rider my size (6'4'' 170) and that both are good on the trails. but also the less price of the honda, and the quality of the honda are very tempting too. any advice is appreciated.

u cant really go wrong with either one. they are both great machines. both have plenty of aftermarket parts available. ridden a 300ex, and i really like it but my warrior is paid for, out runs a 300ex, and handles just like i want it to. would i go with the 300 if i could start all over again.... donno still love my warrior.

Warrior beats 300EX, especially for tall people. Warrior has a better reverse system and more displacement (348cc vs 282 cc for the Honda). A better choice might be a 400EX, other than you lose the reverse feature. Do a search on this question and you'll come up with a few threads with lots of opposing viewpoints.

I love my warrior, how the power is on tap and the good all-around feel to it. I like the 300ex to, i too have ridden and raced both. I raced my buddy on his 300ex with a few mods done to it and i beat him by about 5-6 quad lengths. The 300ex does have the better handling and suspension but I think that it is too light in the front end. The warrior can jump and climb just about anything that you want it to w/out the front end coming up over the back wheels. Yes, you do get a "plusher" ride with the 300ex but if you like power then go with the warrior. One more hint, buy used and save money for aftermarket parts.

Between the choices you have ......the Warrior by far. Throw in a 400EX....thats the way to go.

what kind of riding do you do? always include this.

warrior is better than the 300ex except in suspention/handling but a warrior is on par with a 300ex. why not wait for a zukiz400, thats what i want. or a cdale. mmmm... cdaaallleee

I could be wrong but I don't think he's looking to spend the money Cannondale wants for thier bikes.
