I was just wondering why you see all the freestyle guyes on 250r's and none of them on banshees? i know banshees are heavey in the nose but with mods they can be lighter. Does any body else know any reasons why they don't use these for big jumping? (my banshee seems to jump pretty good and i like jumping it more than 250r, except the heavy frount end.)

I think it may have something to do with the powerband. Its a bit more friendly and probably works better for free style type jumps. Matt "Kangaroo Kid" Coultier regularly uses a bansee for his long distance jumps..

i heard people say there nose heavy is that why?
are they just to heavy for freestylin?
like the guy said above is the powerband just not right for it?

seems strange they sell tons of these but i dont see anyone freestyling them?

From what little I know about jumping Banshees it seems to me that most guys you see on Huevo's and such jump what they ride and what there use to. Therefore most of the riders are riding 250r's because of the amount of 250r's you see in MX events, Hair scrambles, National events, ect; If you notice on those videos look at the dune clips. When they aren't show casing the big name MX/National riders, they are showing banshees flying through the air in the dunes. Banshees are good jumpers, but because of there aggresive powerbands they need a little more room to set up for jumps. Thats why you see more jumping in the dunes than on tight Mx doubles and tripples.
