I got my new Trail techs put on today WOW. I never tought they could make that much differnce. These babies are bright. I just wanted to share with someone, yes I get tickled over little stuff.

 

Ward- i get the "sun in my eyes" every time i gas the raptor. lol.

I got the 35's but have 50's ordered. I'm seriously considering a higher output stator so I can run the 75's. You can never have enough light! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

I got the 35s as well on a generic bar clamp because I already remounted my indicator lights and key. I am thinking of ordering two more 35s to go by the upper shock mounts. Do you now if I would have to run another stator to do this? What would happen if I didn't?

 

From what I''ve heard running 2 50's is the absoulute limit even then you have to be careful idleing around. I believe the stock stator only puts out 115 watts. If you run too many lights you will draw down your batt & then your in trouble. I don't know if a low batt would keep a Raptor from running at all, but you would have to push it to start it.

Trail Tech has a 200 watt stator for $149 & Rocky Mountain has a 250 watt stator for $189. From what I can tell from the factory service manual it"s not hard to change out. For $40 more I'll probably go with the 250 watt but I'm going to go to Little Sahara in OK to see how my 2 50's work.

You may be on to somthing though, instead of going with 2 75's I may go with 4 50's. That should light up the place!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
