Dateline Louisiana: Tree Farmer endorses "Gearless Locker"
#1
<< According to Jim Cowgill, in the latest product review of the Locker in the Buyer's Guide Issue of ATV Magazine, "In a short ride over pavement and an unimproved field under light throttle, the steering seemed identical, regarding turning effort and response, to the machine's performance before the installation. The Foreman turned easily, with no noticeably objectionable ground scuff, indicating outside front wheel release in turns, 'as advertised.'" >>
How about that?

Does anyone know if it locks everything up in reverse, also? I have seen situations on some of these lockers that are 4wd when going forward, then revert to 3wd when backing up (Ok, I saw it once, but it DID happen - maybe something wasn't right in his diff, who knows). High Lifter usually knows what they are doing in the mud, though. I am not trying to belittle it at all, just wondering if the test was run both forwards & backwards.
Tree Farmer DOES have a wealth of info. Sometimes you almost have to look up a dictionary for what a few of the bigger words mean, but he knows his stuff. Lately I have seen him popping up on a couple different forums. I suppose the more time spent elsewhere, the less here.
