Go full throttle for a while then put for a little then give it hell again. just dont keep it wide open for 5 minutes at a time and you will be good. Change oil after about 7-10 hours and you will be good. Dont pay any attention to what the manual says

I went to the dealership with trailor and my two Scrambers in tow and picked up the Raptor new and took it directly to the Badlands in Attica, Indiana and had some fun. I haven't had any problems. Don't worry about it and have fun with it.

My wife was with me, so I wasn't too hard on it.

I am also current on all maintenance, worry all you want but don't forget to enjoy the ride.

You never run a new engine full throttle. If you do, good luck. Things have to seat correctly, if you spend that kinda dough, for ten hours breaking it in, is it going to hurt to just go easy?

When i bought my Big Bear they told me to go no more than half throttle for the first 10 hours, change oil, then no more than 3/4 throttle for the next 10 hours, after each hour of riding cool down for about 15 min. They said if you want you can go full throttle but not more than 2-3 seconds. IF you go full throttle all the time during break i your quad will not last as long you
want it to . LIke prs311 said when you spend that kind of money take care of it so that it last as long as it can.
