I have the exact same setup on my bike. I put the K&N jet kit and set it up like the directions said. It made my bike run too lean. I'm going to go back to the stock needle and a 160 main jet. I have the K&N 155 in now and the top end is too lean and the 1/4 to 3/4 is too lean as well. We think since that the new K&N needle is longer even at the setting shown it is still longer than with the stock needle.
I did get a better idle with the kit on but no other noticable differance.

The needle is longer, but i think the important difference is the taper. Wyd, try lowering the clip a notch or two if you find it too lean across the mid-range.
If you're finding it to lean at wide open throttle changing the neddle won't do anything to help you.
I'm really puzzeled (and disappointed) as to why there are only three jets included in the Wolverine Dynojet kit. If you buy a kit for a Rubicon you get 8 jets, for the same price.
Maybe if you contact Dynojet they will provide you with a couple of larger jets. It's worth a try.
Oh yea, I'm pretty sure that the jet sizes for Mukuni and Dynojet do not correspond, so you shouldn't need to go with a 160 Mikuni jet. Try a 150.
Myself, I've been very pleased with the Dynojet kit, apart from the fact that, like I said, there should be more jets in the kit for the price I paid.
