Wolverine in shop - 4 days now
#1
I finally broke down and took my 95 Wolverine into the dealer. I've been having a problem with the engine cutting out at 3/4 to full throttle. So far, the carb. has been rebuilt, jetting changes from way rich to way lean haven't fixed it, parking brake switch has been disconnected, valves have been adjusted, stator has been checked. The problem still exisists. The dealer has had it for four days now and says he has no idea what the problem is. When I last spoke to him, he said he was going to try to figure out a way to check the timing. Isn't this something that any dealer should be able to easily do? I would take it elsewhere but this dealer has the best reputation around. All the other dealers are known for having substandard service. What should I do? Should I just leave it there and pay the bill after countless hours of diagnostic time until they find the problem? Or should I just pick it up and live with it?
