Tire problem (realtor)
#1
OK if i did decide to get new Rims for my quad, would it make a difference, and would it be a better alternative to wheel spacers? I was thinking about douglas.160 would that give me more room so my realtors would not hit my stock nerf bars?
thanks

.160 is the thickness of the aluminum used to make the rim not it's weight. .160 is .035" thicker than.125 so it is stronger.
what you want to do is change the offset of the rim, which means the plate that bolts to the hub is closer (to go wider) or farther away (to go narrower) from the inside edge than your stock rims.

I noticed that too. Yea ask about the offset when you order them & let me know what they say. I'm going to order a wider offset when I order my paddles (about 1" a side) for more stability on the dunes. I just haven't decided which paddles I'm going to get yet. I got a couple of diffrent sets borrowed so I'll probably order some in the next couple of weeks.
