Ok this banshee has an extended swingarm, extended a-arms, lowered, bored and stroked to a 420, dual lectron carbs and k&n's, two drag pipes, no shock in the back, running on alcohol. It also has a few other mods. Im not sure of the gearing and it looks great and it just was rebuilt. I rode it and it just plain out hauls and i was sore the next day from when the powerband kicked in. The owner told me it would go between 120-140 on pavement. My question is what do yall think its worth and how fast do you think it would go?

I would say that considering that you have the bike it should be relatively easy for you to clock it..and it's probably not worth what you gave to posses the bike!!!

My '96 sounds very close to what you are looking at, except I have a rear shock. Guy I got it from had over $13K in it and I paid $3800 for it about 9 months ago. Only thing I've done to it is new sprockets and chain, new brake pads, and replace the needles and jets in the Lectrons to make it run on racing fuel rather than alcohol.

ps- supposedly the previous owner had this one clocked at 117mph - I don't know how fast it goes now (I can't physically handle it with full throttle in 6th - it's hard enough to keep it on the ground in 1st-4th when the power band kicks in), but it will smoke an '01 banshee with just pipes and K&N power kit modifications.
