Feb. 4wheel atv action Warrior vs. 300ex

Its a generic answer in the mags. The 300ex always wins the shootout. The Warrior flat stomps it anywhere that counts. 99% of us will never ride a motocross track with our 300ex or Warrior but that seems to be the all important testing ground. Never mind that the 300ex has the most ridiculous reverse procedure ever devised by chimps! I wouldnt put too much faith in any of the shootouts final results. Read the individual characteristics and see what matters most to YOU. I've read a shootout where the 400ex was top over the Raptor. After riding the 400ex, I know the editor either got paid by honda to say that or he had one too many beers before riding.

So now that they have said that the 300ex is better than the Warrior and the 400ex is better than a Raptor.. Then I guess its probley time for them to say that thier Hondas 250ex is better than a blaster. They will probley say something stupid like the 250ex is faster. Hey but in the March dirtwheels the Kawasaki Lakota beat the 250ex in most of the catagories. And was the best bang for the buck.

The 300ex wins against the Warrior?? That's crazy, My friends and I all had Warriors and one of them had a 300ex and was a good rider, but that 300ex just couldn't do it on the trail like our Warriors, we had to always wait on him until he bought a Warrior. The Warrior in my book is the best trail quad ever made, then and now.

Well, sorry yamy boys but the 300EX won for a reason. It handles better, better suspension, has way better ergonomics than the warrior. Jumps better, etc. Why pay more and get less? You say the reverse is bad but if your to ignorant to push a button pull in the clutch and pull up on a lever than you probably shouldn't be riding. Unless you are willing to sacrifice Handling, reliability, suspension, ergonomics, and price just to go 2 or 3 miles per hour then hey good for you. I personally would much rather have a better machine and than just get a pipe and taller gears for it and make if faster than a warrior and better and still save money.
Don't flame me here cause I am simply stating the truth.

I think it has to do with the size of the rider. I own a 400ex and a warrior. My friend owns a 300ex. I am 6'4" tall and like the warrior much better. My friend is 5'10" and likes the 300ex. I am in front most of the time on the warrior. But I'm a little better rider too. It's a size thing.
