You got to get rid of that crappy stock air filter. I got the pro flo foam filter set up real easy to do and you know your filters are on.I have the GYT-R slip on its pretty loud but anything you put on the Raptor is going to be loud. Even a stock exhaust without the baffle is loud.Save the hassle and get the K&N stage 2 jet kit.Iam running with my air box lid on and I was amazed how much better my Raptor ran with these mods.Let your lizzard breathe.

 

OK well i have been waiting for a silencer that will pass the 94 db law in mich.
and until yesterday NO ONE had one!!!!! now i just recieved email from mike at
BIG GUN and they have a whole new silencer out for the RAPTOR. a stock raptor is 92 db so 2 db gain should be quiet enuff to ride without your neighbors calling the cops.
if you ever plan on going to silver lake dunes in mich you better be under 94 db at 4000 rpm or stay home...

Yoshi is 100db & from experience I can tell you it sounds good & is not annoying at all. The TEC kit with different end caps allows an in between sound/performance & a stock end cap that sounds the same as stock. The pipe looks good too.

 

Which pipe is better, for horsepower, the CT Sonic kit or the full Yoshi? (On Raptor)

Which one is quieter?

Deciding to do an upgrade. I know someone with the Yoshi full pipe, pro flow air kit, cut snorkel fin, and rejetted. If the CT Sonic kit makes the Raptor faster then I want to get that to blow him off the desert.

 

hey fourlix, i was thinking about the hmf slip on, but i am concerned about the jetting for one. did they recommend what size to run with the pipe?
