Will Dynojet needles work with any other jets or just their own? I ask because after the first time I jetted I have never changed back to the stock needles when I tried it again for my K&Ns. Should I switch back to the stockers or leave the dynojets in?

leave the dynojet needles in, they will work with any jets and since the kit only comes with 148/150 max most folks are using mikuni jets up to 170 even heard of one guy going up to 190

Does anyone know why these dyno jet kits only come with up to 150 jet size? I know dyno jets are different then stock and they look smaller when in comparison with same size of stock. I made a call to the 1-800 # and talk to Micheal Cory and he told me that just because the size of the jet is smaller does not mean I will get less fuel because of the needles and the way the jets are made. Now I don't know how true that is but I will soon find out. I went with what he said and but in the dyno jets 144/146 witch seem alittle small to me but he is the expert right? Does this sound right to anyone else out there? I'm running an full open air box with a K&N air filter and a full big gun exuast system. My elevation is 5000 feet. On my first test of just running around the block I didn't really experance any problems with it cuting out or anything but the true test will be takeing it to the sand dunnes and climing some hills. Thanks for any help that you can give

Hey Richie you missed a great ride, well almost. We had absolutely no rain, it warmed up, and got sunny on Sat. The only problem we had was one of our guys on a 400 broke his brand new Krypton tie rod after a hour or two of riding, so he played passenger. We went ahead and road the rest of the day but didn't Sun. We stayed in Alex that night. I don't know when I will head back, maybe Memorial Day. Check out my site for some pics. Where is it that you drag at?

The filters are kind of comming I saw a set up on somebodys web site that I am going to try. Then I still have to get more jets and all that jive. Maybe I'll give it a run this weekend.

Thanks for the info about the jets.

man, i hate i missed that. sorry to about he guy's tie rod. but hey it's a honda.hehe. i can't remember all the times i've hauled my buddy's 400ex out of the woods. then the one time i need a tow because i blew my carbs off,(it was too dark for me to see what had happened)he burns out his clutch trying to. so my other friend pulled both of us out at the same time on his raptor. that web site is awesome. i'll have to go back when i have more time. your raptor is the same color as mine. i'd like to get in on that arena racing you were doing in one photo. the "dunes" looked like a great place. just let me know before you go back. we are racing in charleston, ms.costs $8 to get in and $20 to race. they pay 1st-3rd. but i can't ever promise just how many will show up on any given weekend. there is gonna be some serious dragging in spring hill, ms.$10 to race it's about 60 miles south east of memphis, tn. the first race is on march 30. were planning on going. if your interested you can wait til the next time(they race every other weekend)and i'll let you know if it's worth the drive. if you have the april dirt wheels just look on page 84. the web site iswww.springhilltrack.com or www.atvdra.cc. it has pics. some scary stuff up there. later.

dynojet kit is a stage II, once you go without an airbox lid or cut most of it out you start to get into the stage III or IV which dynojet does not currently support. jetting with no airbox lid is tricky and takes a bit more work, dynojet is just going with the least problematic solution, at some point they might go with a stage III or IV kit which would include larger jets

I have a buddy who lives in Charlestown. That might be a good excuse to go see him. The arena cross was setup by a friend of mine and a local semi-pro bike rider. It was alot of fun but there was only one quad class and to many people in it. That is were I bent my axle, But still came in 2nd over all. So far it has been once a year for 2 years now, I missed it this time. Its a real small track so the 2 strokes have an advantage, but not that much. We are in the process of making some new tie rods, for the 400, out of stainless cold roll. It was kinda of funny after it happened until we tried to get him out, big pain in the butt. I didn't have any problem pulling him, just stuck in gear and gassed on it. It did scratch my fenders pretty good but I'll just use that as an excuse to get the red from fullbore.
