Extended Warranty for 2002 Raptor???

I know that many of the "bugs" in the 2001 Raptor appear to be fixed for the 2002 model year, so is it worth it to spend the money for the extended warranty? Does the dealer negotiate on the price of the extended warranty or is it fixed?

My friends 02 that is 4 months old
just blew the rear shock out
I would get it he wasn't even
riding it hard
