Do us a favor and swing the rear over after you take the holeshot and roost him off his 80. then let him get closer. then roost him again. and film it. Ha ha ha!

I dont know guys,

I think the little 80cc moto might just blow him away.

Theory:
RaptorRidr660r vs. KX80

What happens if 660 stalls or or if its an '01 model and its tranny blows out?

or what if RaptorRidr660r has soo much confidence that he forgets where to throttle is?

Ya never know what will happen.

Hahah, like I said. If you forget how to ride a quad, the 80 will surprise you. Don't take it too much for advantage, it's always possible the kid is a damn good rider. I watched a friend of mine, who while being slightly insane is an awesome rider (mostly because he's fearless), chasing a 125YZ with an 80 and trouncing him everywhere but the straights. He also raced him on a little Honda 250EX, the no clutch driveshaft version? And doing just as well against that YZ125. Granted, it's not against a Raptor (Raptor is faster than a YZ125? I have no idea) but it was a 4 stroke 250 quad vs a 2 stroke 125 and then an 80cc vs a 125cc and my friend won both races.

Driver can make a big difference. But, chances are, if he's smack talking he's probably all talk. My friend says he doesn't know how to ride, then does 2 wheel donuts, hangs as much air as the MX guys do, and otherwise generally proves himself wrong.

AS far as who is a better rider, which does count... I am 21 and have been riding bikes since i was 11 or 12, he is my 13 year old brothers friend who has only been on the bike for a few months and been on quads maybe 2 years. This is my first quad, but i have been on many and think they are easier to ride then bikes. (just my opinion) I have been making faster laps on the raptor then i did on my drz out in our little track in our field, mostly because i can turn faster on the raptor. It doesn't bother me to the point where i am going to get ulcers, I just find it hard to believe. Thanks

I am not sure about the 89 model KX80. The new KX85 with a lightweight person onboard would be able to or at least at the start pass you by. After the speeds increase I would think you should be able to pass. The start is where he might get you. Just my input on this.

Hey, he might just take you on a short drag race. I raced a kid on an 80 and had my butt handed to me, mainly because if I would have went faster I would have pushed him into rocks at 40-50 MPH, so if he races dirty then he MIGHT beat you. Oh yea, I was riding an 85 ATC250R, that I beat Banshee's and Raptors with, but not an 80 !!

First off, you should seriously spell check

<< And I rode the 80 and get get in in 3rd gear in places where i can only be in 1st on the raptor!! >>

get get? in in?

Okay, Iv ridden a 94cr80(most powerful 80, 125 of the decade, and the 94 cylinder was used on the 01' CR's), that 80 was stock, and it kicked but, the front wheel lifted up off the ground at high rpm in 1st, then it was hard to stay down from 2nd thru 5th, then on 6th it tapered off.

I think the 80 will get a good speed boost in 3rd gear, but then youll waste him, the cr80 i rode went 60mph, 100km, and that was when i have a break-down-without-riding-it kawasaki ke100, and i thought that had OK power, now i atleast have something to compare that to, of what a 125 was like? I sold my ktmsx125, that thing could wheelie in every gear, and i bet i could waste a 400ex, raptor. 78mph that thing did!
