Best gearing for Warrior
#2
The stock gearing is 13/40... I have 15/40 on my 2001. Caution: keep a good chain on the beast if you go larger in the front. I just threw my chain and now my sidecase has to be welded.

The same thing happened to this one the previous owner told me.
He showed me where it broke and cracked the case.
He sealed it up with something and it s working good.
How does that work, will a bigger front sprocket gear it up or down and same with the back ???

If you go bigger in the front = more top end
If you go smaller in the front = more bottom end
If you go bigger in the back = more bottom end
If you go smaller in the back = more top end
The warrior likes a 14 tooth front if you want more top end and your motor is stock. If you ride with raptors and shee's like I do, slap a pipe on it, jet it, and 15 tooth front, you'll do fine. leave the rear alone. You can't go any smaller in the rear, maybe a tooth, I don't think they make one though. Why you'd want more bottom end is beyond my knowledge
