I have had not had time to post this question for a while but here goes. About 2 months ago my frine and i were on a old country road buzzin' around. We decised to race in front my Land. First time i really got on the warrior hard for a longer period of time. I hit 5th gear and looked over to see my buddy on a forman 450 ES comming up on me so i opend up the carb all the way. For about 5 seconds it was maxed out, then i made a very loud screetching sound. It was like steel VS. Steel. IT has oil, has been more than properly borken in after the rebuild, and all of that. Once when iwas riding my brothers little KX80 it did the same type of thing when i down shifted. Both machines are rarly opend all the way up. What could this have been. The warrior still runns better than ever and has awsome compression. Any idea

It sounds like your quad is geriatric. Just drive at wide open throttle for extended poeriods like thirty minutes, it shouldn't be news that you had it open for five seconds.

Elrancho, i am confused about your reply. Was this a sarcastic reply or a helpful reply? I do open up the carb some times but there is no need to really becasue of the low end power it has.
