I am going to mount an aluminum tube between the carb boots and 2 K&N filters. So I don't have to drive home and measure the inside diameter of the carb boots (or the outside diamater of the airbox flange) can anyone tell me that measurement?? thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is theplace you want measured but the outside of the carb, where the velocity tubes connect, is 2 1/16. I don't think that is what you wanted but my bike isn't here to give you any others.

 

I measured it. The ID of the tubes are 2.5"s where they connect to the airbox.
