I have recently purchased a set of Dura-Blue wheel spacers for my 02' Raptor. It has made an unbelievable difference in the handling. It no longer feels "tippy" and I can now powerslide around turns better than before. This is actually an inexpensive mod that can be made for under $100.00 ( I paid 60.00 for mine). The spacers are made from a synthetic (hard) plastic. Installation is a breeze. It took approximately 10 minutes to put them on. You have to pound out the old stud bolts and replace them with the longer bolts which are provided. The wheel spacers are awesome and I would highly recommend them

I agree - I put on off-set front wheels (2 inches wider each side)and spacers in the rear and it's VERY stable now. The only downside is potential rear axel bend but I've not had any problems - I'm not a jumper so it should be OK.

Another fairly inexpensive mod that really works amazingly well is a Denton steering stabilizer - $150 and worth every penny !!

Do these wheel spacers go over the new studs and the tires is mounted in effect widening the rear end? If not please explain how this works. Where can I order or see a picture of them please?

Dura-blue makes two kinds. The EZ-fits ($100) acutally screw on to the existing studs and the Graph-lites ($60) which require the original studs to be removed. Both use a "hard plastic" spacer ring to stand off the wheel.

Moose make stand-off spacers ($60)that screw onto the existing studs but do not have a ring.

I've used both and prefer the Ez-fits, they can be removed without affecting the original set-up.

I think the Dura blue site has pics or try rockymountainatv.com or search on dura-blue wheel spacers.

Hope this helps...

Wheel spacers are an especially good idea if you have an '02 Raptor with the stronger axle. Fisher has had them on his '01 with no problems. Hi Eric, Speaking of Raptors, Skyler broke his arm, not bad, when his rev limiter kicked in just as he hit a 2nd gear jump. Big nose dive. I saw it all. He's in a cast for the next 5 weeks.

fisher, does the steering stabilizer make the steering very heavy?
I went to Little Sahara, OK this week & my arms & wrists are still sore from the pounding. But I don't want to get Popeye arms from fighting the stabilizer all the time.
Also how easy is the hookup? Are all the mounts & fasteners included or is there some fabrication required?
