today I went and looked at a 2002 big bear . I realy like it but it didn't have a skid plate! maybe I am thinking wrong but shouldn't they put skids on at the factory on these things? If I do end up getting one who makes a good skid plate for it? one last thing in the Yamaha brochure they show a sweet camo helmet on the big bear anyone know were to get one? thanks

 

wigeon, I have a friend who has a 2002 Big Bear.... no they don't put them on at the factory they sell them as an accessory, so he got one and so far its the best skid plate I've seen for the Big Bear. Don't know about the helmet, sorry.
