Just wondering what is a good filter oil to use with the foam pro flo kit. I just installed it today and used NO-Toil oil. It says in the instructions not to use spray on oils!!!! What is the reason for that? What do You recommend?? Thanks

I use the Bel Ray foam filter oil. It's a thick, sticky blue oil.
Try it.

Spray on oil use a propellant to carry or force the oil out of the can it also thins the oil. This can be corrosive and will eat the foam on the filter.

Ive always used a spray on oil for my foam filters. Lube it up real good and rub it in with your fingers and hands (messy but oh well) Inside and out. Make sure it covers the whole thing. Put it back on the inner screen. I use the foam filter cleaner spray on my hands to remove the oil. Works great. Then reinstall filter. Never had any problems with filters because of a spray on oil. I use PJ1 mostly. JM2 cents.
