I was thinking of putting a stock 400ex pipe on my raptor. They say the raptors pipe is so restricted. Is the hondas just as bad. The problem I have is all the slip ons are way too loud for the area I ride. (Have to pass some houses on main road for a while before trails) Anyway has anyone tried this swap or is it a waste of time If so what slip on is recommended. Thanks for all the input

that is a waste of time! there are silencers out that have the new QUIET CORE. such as BIG GUN,FMF, HMF. actually most pipe manufactures have a quiet system. altho you wont get the power gain you would with the straight threw silencer.

i recomend the hfm silncer the price is the best 179. plus 20 for quiet core.

Your right, the stock slip on is extremely restrictive. I'm very happy with the White Bros. E-Series. I don't think it's too loud for your situation.

White Bros. E - series. The disc will help you to tune down the noise.

I also bought the "e" series and I love it. The disc system makes it easy to tune also.
