i'm looking into buying a warrior but it seems like i can't find any suspension upgrages for this bike. are there any companies that makes performance suspension (like control arms, springs, etc.) parts for warriors? i wanted a 400ex but i really want reverse and if can't find parts to upgrade the warriors suspension, i might have to buy a 400ex.

Lonestar Raing makes a-arms, axles, swingarms(both stock, and round house/honda style). As far as shocks/springs go, virtually all the shock companies have shocks available for the warrior, which includes, works, pep, ohlins, and elka. If you just want to get some springs, Eibach springs are probably available thru white bros. You might also check out timmyboydesigns.com for some a-arms as well, good luck.

will these parts improve the bikes handling considerably or should i just get a 400ex since it seems like the choice of most riders.

Depends on how bad you want reverse. Longer A-arms and a longer swingarm coupled with new shocks customized for you and your riding style will help the Warriors handling a lot, make it handle much better than a stock 400EX. But it will cost you dearly, somewhere's between $1500-1800 depending on which componets you go with. However, I don't think you can put reverse on a 400EX for any price. Since you're looking at $1500-1800 plus the cost of the Warrior I would also look at an '02 Raptor; only $49 a month until January 2003, reverse, LOADS of power, and decent handliong once you get used to it. Or wait another couple of months and take a look at the new Kawazuki Z400: A Honda like chassis with Raptor looks (plastic) made by Kawasaki + Suzuki (they merged their motorcycle/atv divisions).
