What the hell is up with these things. I need aftermarket boots that are strong. Who has the boots and how much?

If your Raptor is an 01 I've heard Yamaha will update your intake to 02 specs I believe at no charge. Someone with an 01 may be able to confirm or deny this.

Never had a problem with my 01 boots but a road dog of mine did and yamaha/dealer would not give him any help. There are replacement boots that cost $28.00ea

Well I hope they update it at no charge. I would have to say it is a defect. Now all they need to do is update my tranny!

I just took my clamps off and there is little spacers in them, grind off about 1/16th of an inch and then they will clamp down far enough to stay on. Also make sure you are at 1500rpm's at idle. I have not had any more troubles.
