It is tipsy at first, but once you get used to it you can impress everyone on how long you can ride on your two side wheels.

It feels like that for a while, than you'll get used to it.Anyway, a bunch of guys here removed a sway bar and kept it off.And they like it that way??So,I am confused.....??????????/.....

I have had no tipping problems with my Griz, but I do not try to turn at very high speeds like some people. I have done some extreme off camber stuff any it feels no more tippy than any of the other ATVs I have owned.

I have been riding for a while now. Was out of riding due to an injury back in 93 (but still sneaking a ride here and there) hehe

Just to give you a quick story.....

I bought my grizzly just a few days ago (about a week or so) and when i got it home, my wife wanted to putt around on it to see what she thought.... she is about 125 lbs. and wont even ride a roller coaster ride (afraid of everything). Well, anyway, she hops on the bike, slowly making circles in the drive. Slowly gaining speed on a small trail....and the next thing i know (still waiting my turn to ride) she starts wipping d "O" nuts!!!!!!! When done with her lil test spin, she pulls up to the garage, shuts the bike off, and says........ Well,.......i guess you have to get you a bike now. :-)

Compared to other bikes that i have been on, the griz does seem a little high, but dont get me wrong, its not "tippy". Just handles different. It seems to me, it's all how YOU ride... If your going to just sit in the saddle and expect it to not roll over at a highspeed turn...then it doesnt matter really what bike you are on...ya gonna flop it over... hehe

PS. look at the my signature line...
I had to go get me one....

Wish it was that easy snake.....lol

I bought mine first! So she gets the silver one....

Doesnt matter to me, since we both have a good bike to ride....

She is alot milder on hers too, so the silver wont take a beating like mine and the paint wont be a problem for her.... as for me, well now that's a different story! Knowing my luck, i will have to replace the plastic within a year hehe... maybe blue? Well, till that time comes, Beige is good for me!

The grizzly is not tippy side to side but it has that 3 wheeler effect. When you do a turn the front end will dive on to the wheel oposite of the turn. Very scary. Also the brakes are POS. But I would imagine that a stronger set of tires might make up for the turning. Goodyear mudrunners are like rocks. Almost no sidewall flex. On a bike as top heavy as the grizzly this is a plus.

I think that one of the best cornering utility atvs is the bombardier quest. That thing doesnt tip it just slides if you turn to sharp which i think is neat but its a little bulky.

I wouldn't say the brakes in general are POS. The front brakes are good the rear is a POS.
