Hello all,
I am new to this forum and have a couple of questions. Over the weekend while riding my Grizzly with a friend I noticed that there was a vibration in the front end at higher speeds. My friend who was riding behind me yelled for me to pull over because it looked like my left front wheel was loose and wobbling. Upon inspection we noticed nothing loose and it looked as though my front left rim was bent. I did not hit anything, so this kind of surprised me. I took it home and put it up on some blocks and spun the front wheels and it is definitely wobbling. While I was watching the rim, I happen to look at the axle spinning and I could not belive that my axle was also wobbling. I checked all four axles, and all of the other ones spin with the axle itself staying centered and spinning. The left front one that looks like its wobbling was spinning and also moving around and wobbling while it was spinning. I called my dealer, who said to bring it in so they could look at it. He said if it was due to impact that they would not cover it under warranty. I just had the cir clip replaced two weeks ago. I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem or not, but any response of info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did not experience wobbling but in the winter I snapped the right rear axel in the cold weather when it was packed full of ice. The dealer figured that it was due to the axel being bent he said that they usually dont cover axels but he called yamaha and they said they would cover it.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to take it back to the dealer tomarrow, but I am a little irritated that this has happened. Hopefully Yamaha will cover it, because the axle kit itself is $250. I was just wondering if this was a very common problem or not.
Thanks

I have seen other posts here and at other forums, about Grizzly axles pulling loose from the clips. Maybe you could run a search?

Thanks for the help. I took it to my dealer yesterday and he checked everything out and said that when the clip was replaced that for some reason it did not stay and it looked like the axle moved while in motion, therefore bending the axle. I was sure that I had not hit anything with it and it was an all of the sudden type deal. I just sucks that I will not be able to ride my quad for awhile and its going to be nice this week.
