I( have never owned a quad before but I have riddin alot of them cuz my buddy has a warrior, banshee, and a zinger. I want a quad with plenty of power that I wont out grow. I'm not interested in the blaster anymore because I am growing. I'm 5'2 110. I want something used. I was thinking aboout a used banshee but their are not very good on trails. I cant have a 250R cuz its too much quad. So what do u suggest I should get. I want a sport. I dont want them damn 400ex's cuz I just hate them. Please help me out people.


P.S.I'm kinda of more interested in 2 stroke but whatever your opinon is, I'll have it in mind when I go to the dealer.

A stock 250r is not to much. If I was you I would probably look into a used stock Raptor.

 

lol, your saying a 250r(the least powerful of the 2stroke 250's produced back in the day)is too much machine, but a banshee isn't?

 

do you want so stay with yamaha, or go to suzuki, or polaris maybe?

 

If ya don't want too much and want a good used quad look into the Warrior as well! But if you have to have 2 stroke, I would say Banshee, they are alot cheaper then 250r's. I doubt that it would be too much, my little brother is maybe 110 at the most and he can ride my Raptor pretty good actually, surprized me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Good luck with whatever you decide on...

 

Blasters are nice, cheap, decently fast, and you can make them helluva fast with some time and money. I don't know if a Raptor would make a good first quad, but since you have experience already... go for it.
