I just recieved my Denton rebuildable stabilizer today and the instructions are worthless. Im sure it's not that big of a deal and I could figure it out. But since it's 28 degrees outside I'm not in a huge rush to get it installed. Does anyone have any tips on installation and prefered ride settings that might help out??

Thanks

Is your Yosh a full system or just a slip on? I have the Denton with a stock pipe and the clearance is VERY close, but nothing hits. The adjustment rod goes towards the front, with the heim joint mounted in the middle hole of the support (there are three holes in it). The heim joint goes in from the front, making sure the stabilizer is to the left of the steering stem. Mount the collet on the steering stem and connect the other end of the stabilizer to it. Snug all the fasteners, but do not tighten them yet. Turn the handlebars lock to lock looking for contact against the head pipe. Adjust as necessary until everything clears, then tighten everything down and check clearance agian. This Denton is an awesome unit and I'm very happy with it.

Well, I just installed it today and I gotta tell ya. INSTALLING IT WAS A JOKE. The instruction sheet was next to worthless, it was a carbon comp of a picture that you could bearly make out the steering shaft much less where to mount anything. I got it working, eventually!

I am going to post a couple of pictures of how it ended up. If by chance someone sees that I did it wrong please let me know. But please be constructive in your criticism as I am still trying to chill out.

It sorta looks nice, so I guess that end of it worked out.

Thanks

I ordered it from Denton Racing. Take a look at my Canondale photos on my "Photos" page a friend of mine has a "Wer" that is supposed to be nice on the Dale's. How do you like it compared to your 2001 Raptor?? I noticed that you didn't have your Canibal in your brag list.

Man..that mounts completely different than my PEP dampener did. Mine mounts to the trans case on the shifter side and then to the steering shaft.
