I heard old banshees had J arms, but I don't even know what the are, or look like. Does anyone have pics?? Do any current quads have j-arms?

Thanks for any responses.

J arms look like a J w/ the top of the J pivoting. its sort of how you think of an a-arm and then you see it, just picture it the same way with a J. this is probably totally confusing but just trying to help

I think most of the early banshees had it up until about '89.

J-Arms were used on Banshee's from 1987 thru 1989. In 1990 they were replaced by an A-arm design (triangular design) The lower control arms started as an A-arm design/style in 1987 and have not been changed to date. If I remember correctly, I think the early Honda Oddessy's had J-arms.

Actually, 1991 was the first year of the a-arm banshees, '87-'90 had the j-arms. They were designed like that because the exhaust was in the way. But the J-arms were replaced because they were weak and caused very bad arm pump compared to the a-arms. If you want to see a pic go to ebay and search j-arm, you should find some there!
