I plan on getting one in a few weeks too. I was told that the 300 was no good for the Grizz or Raptor. Check out my thread on the "yamaha special financing"

If I did get the 300, I would put mine towards a winch

if you do a lot of riding in public areas where noise is an issue, save yourself a ticket and put the money in the tires
you got a lot of power as it sits stock and the power increase isnt worth the extra noise
a good set of tires can get you in and out of spots where addl. power wouldnt even be an issue

i don't think you can spend the $300 on anything other than yamaha excessories such as a winch or camo bags, but i might be wrong.

No, other people say that you can use the $300 towards anything, even if it is not from yamaha itself. Anyways noise is not a problem, and i don't go through that much sloppy stuff yet so i think i will go with the second option.
