Banshee Problem need help

As well as checking for a clear breather tube from the water pump....I would also check the gasket that accesses the water pump...but more importantly...probably the O-ring type gasket that is between the little extruded tube...not sure what the technical word for it is...but if that seal has become crushed from taking the side cover on and off...it could be leaking into the oil..... I promised another person from the post that I would scan the pages from the clymer manual on trouble shooting cooling problems....when I get them scanned I will E-mail them to you if your interested....The light went out on my scanner...so I need to get a new one or something....

one more question....I bought this thing used obviuosly, is the front crankcase vent and the back one supposed to be tied together? I didnt sound right to me, but that is how this one is set up...
