I'll tell you how I want to set mine up...
Houser +2 long travle black lower and chrome upper A-Arms, Elka Quad rate shocks, dual rate rear shock, 11:1 High comp piston (or sparks 690 Kit), LSR +4 axle, LSR +2 swing arm, Graydon Airbox, K&N Filter, Outerwear, AC Pro peg nerfs, AC polished Front Bumper, Denton Rebuildable Stabilizer, Pro Design Kill Switch, Yoshimura Pro Series Tri-Oval, 35mm FCR carbs, Heavy duty clutch kit, Hinson clutch basket, 20X11X9 6 ply Razr's rear, 21X7X10 6 ply razr's front, 19X6X10 Holeshot MX Front, 18X11X8 Turf Tamers Rear custom grooved For MX, Hiper tech rims, LSR Sterring Stem, and some other little goodies

I know the shocks I want will lower the beast and with out making less shock travel.
Hope this helps later

I will tell what I have.

Engine
JE 102mm 12.5:1 (686cc)
Web Cam
Stiffer valve springs
1mm Bigger Valves w/ 3 angle valve job
Flowed Head
Big Gun Exhaust
Pro Design Filter Kit

Suspension
American Star +3" A-arms
PEP ZPS Shocks
Denton steering stabilizer
Lonestar Axle

Tires and Wheels
20x11x6 Holeshot Mx on Douglas .190
18x11x8 Holeshot Mx on Ultimate Beadlocks

Miscellaneous
12T Front Sprocket.
Tag T2 bars
Nac's Parking Brake Block
Custom Mounted Indicator Lights
Graydon Proline Bumper
Graydon Proline Nerf Bars
AC Rear Grab Bar
Black Powdercoated frame
Braided Brake Lines
RTC clutch and brake levers

The PEP shocks are definetely the best shocks made, but plan on waiting about 4 months for them. The only downfall to running the +3" A-arms like mine is that in order to stay in the 50" AMA legal width, you have to run the special order douglas 4+1 wheel (pricey at $84.99 each)if you have zero preload shocks. With the 3+2 offset I can pass tech if I pull up on the front end a take all the preload out. If I ever have to buy another axle it will be an RPM, because they actually make a +4" axle that will get me to 49.5" in the rear, instead of 48.5" . Durablue will get you there, but they are total junk. Last year at redbud, I saw 7 axles break, and 6 of them were durablues. The only mods I still need to do is a +1.5" lonestar swingarm, FCR carbs, Roll design pegs, and a lot more practice time.

Mudmunster: i don't know about the quad rate but if they are anything like my triple rate with piggy backs and self sagging from Elka...they'll make you appreciate your Raptor more.

shollz: i also have +3 A-arms (lonestar) with the Lonestar axle. Is your rear slightly shorter than the front? if so hows it handling the turns with that 686? as it is, i have to be careful getting on the gas in the turns. the rear swings around fast.and i'm running stock.

what gearing do you guys recommend for the track...with the 18" tires? right now i have a 12t in the front.

riderraptor420: i'm interested in that lowering kit. can you tell me more about it?

I have a friend that runs a raptor and he uses +3 A arms, wider axle, and tcs shocks to get it lower and that handles great. It is also on ebay right now if you want to check it out.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1721962406
