As we all know the stock tires on the 02 Grizz have to be the worst tire ever so Im gonna buy new tires, my buddy has gators on his recon and they work awesome tuff rugged and durable and cheap.
So Ihave orderd a set of 25's because although I ride alot of mud
I don't want to lose any power and ability to dust any polaris that might be around and the bigger tires can be hard to turn over in this Florida Black Gumbo Mud especially in reverse on the grizz did i make a mistake should I have gotten the 26's

I think that only you know what is best for your bike. I am getting 27 inch dirt devils on monday put on just my bike. The wife is going to stay with stock until she wears them out. Seems that i will be changing her tires before years end. Dang those tires wear quick! We have 200 miles on the bikes and her tires are already showing alot of wear. I dont think that you really have to worry about the size decreasing your power THAT much. I rode with a friend that has 27" 589's and he kept up with me. I really didnt see that big of a difference. He is still going to dynojet his bike...lol

I am really pleased with the power...if it does bother me that much, i will jet my bike too. Heck, just knowing me....i will jet it anyways...hehe I just have to wait till i get some money saved back up! Cant believe all the toys there are for the new ATV's!!!

Keep us posted on how your Gators do for you...Might end up putting them on the wifes bike....(as long as she cant do circles around me in the mud!). In that case, i would just leave the stockers on hers.....HEHEHEHE

I have 27-10-12 and 27-12-12 GBC Dirt Devils on my '02 Grizzly and like them a lot.
They are wearing good also. I have 2700 miles on the tires and they are at about 50%. I didn't notice a loss in power when I put 'em on...Arlan

DanimalFL,
Where do you Guy's ride? There is a group of us that ride Almost every weekend from all over the state of Florida. We need to hook up.I live in Palm Harbor.
I had 27" Mud Bugs on my 660 Grizz and did not noitice any power loss. With my power mods now,the Grizz can spin the 28" Mudzillas like a stock Grizz spinning 25's.

Lsnake68I...I have the X/T's. I would not have gotten that kind of mileage with any less tread...Arlan

DanimalFL.....you say that the stock tires on the Grizz have to be the worst tire ever....i think the stock tires on my rancher would give you a good run for that prestigious award!!!
