RAPTOR vs 400 problem?

Do any other raptor owners have this problem... you go to you local rideing area, where there is 20 to 30 quads on any given weekend. opon arrival you unload your raptor, and about 2 or 3 maybe 4 400ex'ers come over saying there STOCK 400 runs about 80 mph. So you push them off there 400 and KICK EM. then they say something like "yea mine can run down a raptor" so then you KICK EM HARDER, and you dont worry about brain damage to the 400 ex ride who you are KICKING because there IS something about rideing that 400 ex that just makes a person really stupid. so any one else with this problem? hhhmmm fire? well here is some gas![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Shak...true enough. here's the other scenario. everytime time you go out on the track for some laps your followed by a parade of 400EXs. stock, piped, bored...whatever.
Funny...every quad accident i've seen at that track. has been a 400ex. no exageration. i've witnessed 7 major (going home an ambulance) wrecks last year. 1 fatality (did not witness). i watch alot of these guys riding over their machines capabilities trying to keep up. nose dive over the big table top.
as far as a DS at the track. it's rear. but i've seen it done. i think my suv would look more gracful managing a track than that monster. and actually, reverse on a raptor is for drag racing EXs.

I am glad that I am not the only one that has experienced the trash talking 400ex riders. Right after they came out, two of my friends bought one. Before they had them broke in, they were ragging my 250x. At that time it had a 273 big bore. This is where the 410 came into play. Now it will hang with the strongest 416's and 440's. However, if I ask someone who is talking about how bad their piped 400 is to race the little 250x, they laugh and want to race the banshee that has a 370 kit in it. I now have 7 friends that own 400ex's with only bolt on mods, and they all think they are faster than my banshee. They always come up with excuses not to race me.
Anyway, I guess we all own the fastest ATV in our eyes. Just remember, "Bring it, don't sing it"

I put some Honda stickers on my Raptor and even some red wings on the rear fenders and even still ride with my helmet that matched my former 300EX.
The 400ex riders are totally confused by this approach and or method and go after the other Raptor riders and leave me alone to ride happily on the trails.

Raptor660 from NH, where did you hear that the fatality was at? They had one at the Uxbridge track last year and sure enough it was a guy on a 400ex. My buddy also crashed at Uxbridge, broken clavical and a ride to the hospital in the ambulance express, also riding a 400ex...lol He is fine now but says next trip to the track he will be the camera man, trails only for him from now on.
