I've got the bug real bad to buy a new Grizz 660....I've shopped around at quite a few dealers and the best I can do is $6,500 out the door. Is this about as good as I can do?

I was quoted 6199 from 3 diff dealers. I ended up getting mine for 6499 w/ winch installed.

I ended up driving to MS to get mine, about 120 miles.. worth the drive!

Paul~

That's really not a bad price for a new 660. I paid 7800.00 out the door w/winch for mine. *ouch*

I paid 6700.00 for mine and (choke choke) 6200.00 for my wifes. Hers is a silver limited but i got it used with only 50 mi/8 hours on it.

Just to let you know....the retail price is 5995.00 on the plain models and the dealer gets a 3% kickback. Just remember, they are in the business to make money and keep the shop open. 6500.00 is a resonable price to pay. If you have ever owned a business, you know that there is alot of overhead and you have to make your money somehow, not only to keep the doors open, but to feed your family too. What i have found out is, if you get a rock bottom price (not being family or business associate) usually they are in it for QUANITY, and not QUALITY. That can mean, they will sell you the bike, but dont expect good service (or cheaper service) for any problems, questions, comments, or accessories.

Hope that i have been of some help!

I really dont think that you can go wrong with the purchase. Enjoy the bike.

RIDE HARD, PLAY SAFE!

I see an outfit in Jonesboro, Arkansas called JT Motorsports advertising them for 5999.00 fairly regularly.

Forgot to say, i have seen cheaper prices quoted, but usually (THE TRUE OUT THE DOOR) price is higher. The end up tacking on shipping, assembly, etc. If you have a local dealer (respectable with labor) make sure to call and see if he will price match. Would be worth your while if something goes wrong with your bike or if you just have questions on doing things to it yourself. I could have found a cheaper price, but the local dealer is treating me good. Gave me my first service for free and sells all add-ons at a good price. Everytime that he quotes me a price, i look online first to see some price differences. Sometimes he maybe a little higher, but after shipping and HIM installing, heck i cant beat it. Another thing, if HE installs something, then HE is responsible for it. Unlike me (fudge factor/Murphy's law) everytime that i put something on, or fix something, i end up paying more because i forgot something or did it wrong to begin with. Certain things are just better off left with someone who knows, and has done several times, to do.
