Polaris?? You got some fast machines I will admit, but I just dont know if I can handle the looks of disbelief when I tell people I have a hopped up Poalir. My skin is not that thick!!

Heres what Im doing:

I have my motor at Kenz cycle tech here in Phoenix. Hes doing a "play"port, boring my carbs, lightening my flywheel, advancing the timing +4, trueing and welding my crank, and I might have him polish the cylinders. Im also going to be getting some V Force reeds.

this should be a quick ride, not the fastest out there, but still a reliable dune machine, which is what I want!

Thanks for the responses,

RoostKing...

For all that I have listed above, plus a complete 54 peice allen head bolt kit for $30 should come out to $1460.00. Heres the break down:

$500 for the topend rebuild and port job.

$300 give or take for the crank to be trued and welded, with all new bearings throughout.

$60 to port the carbs to 27mm

$100 for flywheel and timing advance

$220 for the V Force 2 reeds

$250 to polish the cylinders and head.

$30 54 piece allen head bold set

= $1460.00

I have heard some really good things about Kenz and he just got done doing an aggresive port on a buddies banshee. This thing flys and seems to be real quality work. Mine should be a good runner, and with the new rebuild, I may add nitrous into the mix by next dune season!
