My dealer told me to change the oil after the first 150 miles

as far as the cv thing goes, I dunno

Booneylong~

Here's a link to my site on a way to bypass your reverse limiter: 660 Reverse Limiter Bypass

What kind of play do you have in your front cv joint? As for top speeds....I don't honestly know. I've been told the rev limiter will stop the grizz at 70 if you open it up a bit to get there. I've had mine to 65 w/o a problem, and still had some throttle left.

No offense taken.

i dont have the play in it right now but i would like to go ahead and get what it takes to fix since it seems to be a common problem.

If you don't have play in the front left CV, then you don't have a problem. Not all Grizzlies have the overmilled cir clip groove on the front left axle, just some, and by the looks of it, the more so on the earlier ones. So...you don't have the problem.

hey boneylong,
i never had a problem with my clip on the front shaft, and dought i will. if it were going to give, i am sure it would of by now with what i have put it through. i beleave it was just some of the models. as for oil, the manual says 20 hours, then change the oil, front and rear diffs, and get the valvs adjusted. i would reccomend doing it all couse it is one he!! of a beast to neglect. have a ball, and get us some pics when you are out tearing it up!!!
silverbear, so i hear you get around, lmao!!! i kind thought you were the loose and free type, heehee, but i just never knew, lmao!!!

the maunual later says 20 hours or 200 miles, whatever comes first. I was worried when i read 20 hours, that is alot of riding. i will reach 200 miles in about 10 hours., i'll get the first check up on it this week. can't wait to open her up.

Boneylong~

I honestly don't know...I haven't ever looked for them, but I'd check the normal outlets, rockymountainatv.com, denniskirk.com, etc.

Mich~

Ya...sometimes I do tend to get around.

I asked my dealer when I should bring my bike in to have the valves adjusted, he told me that they have never had to adjust valves, so they don't have a time frame

uhhhh......
