I'm stuck whether to replace with a single or leave the stocks. I have T5s and that is most likely all that I am adding to the engine (besides maybe going to a single carb) Seems like the stocks just won't get into tune.

Convince me whether to buy or not to buy a single carb setup for a banshee on just pipes no porting.

And what kit do you recommend? Trinity or Graydon? I am leaning towards Trinity's since it seems as though the Graydon don't tune in right and are farther away from intake.( got from a search)

Also, is it simple to get the jetting spot on, I dont mean is it easy to get the jets in and stuff, I mean is it easy to tune it spot on and have no flat spots or dips?

THank you for any good info... please help me

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. T5s are mainly a top end pipe. A single carb on a Shee is for low to mid. It would seem to me that the two would be kind of working against each other.

yeah they are a top-end. but i read how the 2into1 works well with all pipes. It would be nice to add the carb and have more power before the toomeys come on. know what i mean? i also would like to get this thing perfectly tuned. It is pretty much a trail bike with some open blasts and hillclimbs... ocational mx track too. thanks

H300f- my ridding neighbor has a 2001 with toomey's and trinity stage four single carb. It works great. You will not be dissapointed. Biggerisbetter on the Ds forum, his brother has that set-up also with different pipes. It is a runner also. Give Trinity a call, ask for some imfo. Do a search there was a post on this question a few weeks back. Might be some good reading there.

Thanks 14mins. Did you ever race him in a drag race with just the T5s and stock carbs? And did you ever race him after with the single carb and T5s? Im just trying to see if it will decrease power or remain the same or give more... thanks again. I think I am going to look for a used setup as they are expenssive new but I will see..

I have a friend with a single carb and for some reason it tends to not have great throttle response. Its like you push the throttle and it holds up for a second. But i think they are pretty good except for that.

H300F- my friend did the modds all at once. At that point i was gyrt slip-on, pro flowed and jetted. I was beating him by 2 lengths in 800 feet. After his modds he was beating me by 6 lengths and waving bye,bye on the top end. I have cured that now. He does not get on here much, but you should pm him. His name is bansheeboy2ky. He is happy, and he does not get beat by the coolhead, boost bottle etc crowd.
