I too had that same delima. I had a fourtrax and traded for a warrior. I am personaly glad i did. My dad also said I would miss the utility but i really dont that much. The warrior can haul quit a load too. Plus its a blast to ride. But think hard about it first!!

good luck!!!!

Depends on what you ride in/on. If you ride mud a good bit then i'd stay with the kodiak. If you have the need for more speed and don't ride a lot of mud then i'd say go with the warrior. I am a "mud bogger" and wouldn't even consider a trade like that. Its just what you want out of your machine.

i would go with the switch. i was used to the utility quads also and was afraid of going to something that didn't have a rack on it. When i bought my warrior i was happy i did it. if you really want the warrior to act like a utility quad put a rear rack on it and some good mud tires. Thats what i put on my quad and it will go any where a 4x4 will.
good luck!!

I would like to see a 2wd that will go anywhere a 4x4 will go. You may have just never been to Mississippi, but you will never see a 2wd follow a 4x4 everywhere down here. I've personally hooked up to a 01 warrior twice to pull him across a wheat field

i'm not saying that i dont get stuck, i'm just saying that i will be able to stay with a 4x4. i can go through stuff that a 4x4 will have to switch to 4wheel drive to get out of.
