Nothing special Jeff....normal 2 stroke atv maintenance. First thing you need to purchase is a Pro-Flo (or comparable)....this will insure your engine does'nt have premature top end wear. Run high quality 2 stroke oil at 32/1, and keep an eye on your rear axle lock nuts (if the brake rotor has side-to-side play, they are loose).

Definitely buy a different air filter set up. Keep the oil changed at regular intervals. Use a good mixing oil, everyone has their own choice. I run Yamalube in the mix and in the transmission. Like Gary said keep an eye on the axle nuts, if you tighten them properly though I haven't had much trouble. Keep the chain properly adjusted and make sure the adjusters are tighten. The chain adjustment is a night mare, but done correctly once you won't have to mess with it again. Keep everything greased to prevent premature wear in those places. I added a couple of grease zerks in spots that there were none, and that has helped. Keep an eye on brake pads so that they don't wear thin. Keep an eye on the fluids, Banshees tend to puke some coolant. I'll go over mine every few months just to make sure there aren't loose bolts anywhere. Have fun with it, they're a blast. Even more fun with some mods!
