so we were out tearing it up last weekend, when one of my buddies on a 400ex(who doesnt own but always borrows a quad) tries to pass me in a tight gully, well he caught a bad track got thrown off and under my wheels (hurt pride only)I realized this was the 3rd time i had run over him, never ran anyone else over in the group, also realized he has crashed more often than anyone else in our group, I was wondering is it always the guy on the borrowed quad who rides it to the max ;-)? i know better than to lend him my raptor. i keep thinking ride it like you stole it, just try to keep the right side up!!!

from my own experience i have come to believe that is the guy that is a risk taker(me)
not really, it is usually pure stupidity!!
almost every time i go riding with my buddies i am usually the one that smashes or flips.

his thought is probably: I don't have a penny in 'er!
It sucks but whos's fault is it that the quad he borrowed got wrecked?

We do not loan quads in our group. We change out some, with the UNDERSTANDING if it breaks, no matter what, you open the checkbook.

Yea, I know the feeling. My girlfriend's son loves to whip my a$$ in the really rocky sections of the trails where we ride. He can't get it through his thick skull that I waste him on the MX track and I waste him on all the other trails but he thinks he is faster in the rocks. Tried to convince him that your riding style changes when you are the one paying the bills and I didn't want my tires ripped open. He never worried about this. Finally, he ripped a huge hole into his rear tire in the rocky section. This time, I refused to buy a new tire. Let his quad sit for 3 months while his mother and I went out riding. He is learning...

We also stopped loaning our extra quad out due to constant damage to the front bumper and the racks. Also got tired of washing one extra quad.

Like the saying goes around the Chesapeake, "What's better than owning a boat"? Answer: Having a friend who owns a boat.

Actually, that would look cool as hell. a tribal tatoo with the holeshot nobby pattern. HMMM. i might be sporting one this summer myself. I have been run over by my own raptor. I quess that makes me eligable.
