Swingarm mods??

You can use something like this:
Raptor Swingarm Extension
But it still is +$270. You may be better off getting a proper one and paying a little more....

Jason,
The swing-arm has 1 needle bearing and 1 nylon bush on each side (the one that goes through the rear of the motor). You can install 2 bearings on each side. Also if you haven't pulled it apart and repacked it with grease do it ASAP as Yamaha don't put much in there. Look for pitting (rust) where the needle bearings run on the steel bushes. Chances are they will need replacing too.
Rennym,
Lenghtening the standard Swing-arm will only add the forces already at work. If you do any jumping or hard riding, cracks appear at the right front pivot point. Check yours out.

My dealer told me the same thing about the axle bearing, Yamaha is very cheap with the grease and repacking the bearing is not a warranty idem. PMO!!!
