This isn't an ATV question, but I need help finding out what year my bike is, it's a Yamaha XT600, there isn't a plate on the steering stem that says semi-important stuff like this. Where should I look for serial numbers?? There is a number where the model and year plate should be but I cant tell what some of the numbers are. When I do find a number (that I can tell what all of it is) which number should I look at for the year?
Also, if anyone has any parts for this type of bike and would like to part with them, I would be highly interested.
