faster paddles

whats faster in say 100/150yard sand drag 10 blade haulers or 8 blade.ive been told that 8 blades are faster could someone please help me out im fixing to order some paddles

Well, in a short race like that I would guess the 10 paddle haulers would be best. On a longer run 8 paddles would be better.

More paddles = quicker acceleration (to a point)
Less paddles = higher top speed due to less drag.

Also, narrower paddles should be faster on top speed.

Taller tires are usually best (22&quot but make sure you gear down; 13t front is probably good for your mods with 22" paddles.

I would'nt go anything bigger than a 8-paddle tire. (unless you have a 65+hp machine) It takes alot more ponnies to pull those extra paddles.
