Dumb question about Raptor Carbs??
#1
I know that I should know this by now but tonight I removed my two main jets to jet up a bit (removing airbox lid and going from DJ 146/148 to DJ 148/150)and while the carbs were upside down I noticed those brass screwheads "imbeded" underneith towards the front center of each carb. Are those the fuel mixture screws??? I tried turning them in 3 turns just to see... since they were supposed to be about 3 turns out but mine were more like 5???
Are they the fuel mixture screws??
If not where do I fing the fuel mixture screws? (and what the he** was I fidling with?!?!?
Thanks

Hi Xplor,
I just did the exact same modification that you are doing. Click on my photos page and go to "Jetting". I have a picture with a screwdriver pointing right at the air/fuel screw. Let me know if this helps.

Yes, those are the screws. Verify with Gregv pics to be sure. 5 turns is way to much. Be sure you count complete revolutions of the screw driver. If you were counting 1/2 turns of the screw driver then your screws were actualy 2 1/2 turns out not 5.
