Roll is the way to go. BUT...and this sucks...you have to buy the lobo package. you can't purchase just the a-arms. However,Custom Axis shocks are nice. It's just a huge chunk of chnge to shell out all at once.

If you have the means...do it.

i called lonestar and they have an 8 week turnaround..thats way to long for me...im gonna give ROLL a call today but i imagine it going to be somewhere near 2,000 for the whole set-up...

Thats a little steep for this weekend warrior..i could see if i were racing....

Strangest thing about Lonestar...you can buy their products cheaper anywhere else. Call K&K or KandKatv.com . they'll have Bugard and Lonestars in stock. they're in western MA and usually get me my stuff next day. Your probably the same distance away...

I have to say the roll design set up would be better at a much higer price. I have the Timmy-Boy +2,+1's with works pro-series dual rate shocks on my Raptor and am very pleased with the results. Good fit & finish. This set up works great for me I ride sand, woods and occasionaly desert trails. Never took it out on a MX track so I dont know how it would do there.

i have the lobo 2 roll design a-arms with the custom axis shocks and it is incredible....very plush....no body roll...and no bottoming out....my width now is about 50" wide....i do ride trails and have not had a problem with the width in the trails....on the track this system is top notch...fit and finish where perfect...keep in mind that the price out the door for this setup is $2500.00 and i will prolly take about 6-8 weeks to get it....depending on what you want to do with your raptor....you may just want to get the timmyboy's and keep the shocks that you have now....question for you is this...are your works shocks setup for stock length a-arms....if they are and you get +2 or +3 timmyboy a-arms you will have to get the shocks revalved and re-sprung to match the a-arms...this may force you to sell them on ebay and go for the roll design setup...which i highly recommend...

i think the roll design is better because the lower a-arms have needle bearing setup verses bushings...and i think the ball joints are of a better design and have a smoother motion to them....timmyboy a-arms are nice and i would have brought them, but the roll design with custom axis shocks come as an integral set...i.e. the shocks are matched to the motion curve of the a-arms...

herbdon out.....

I am about 5'9 and 155lbs. I paid $800 for the arms (chrome plated)and $900 for the shocks (chrome plated). The pro-series shocks have a larger shaft 5/8" and also rebound+compression adjustabilty I think this may very from the triple rates w/remote rezzies.
