does anyone have experience with this pipe on a raptor. they have two different models and one is for modified engines with new cam and valve springs.how much of a hp increase could you expect with a midrange cam and new valve springs and some airbox mods with this pipe?also they have endcaps for the silencer called snuff'r'not. they are supposed to give a litle more performance has anyone used this endcap and on the website it says this endcap makes it loud. how loud if anyone knows. thanks

I have the e series slip on and love it. My bike pulls hard from bottom to top. Makes a huge difference. The endcap doesnt make it louder at all. It plugs the end of the pipe and allows you to tune the power with adding or removing discs.

I have the "e" series on mine. It made a considerable difference. The end cap is recommended because it actually increases the H.P. Mine was quieter with the end cap on. If I would remove it, The neighbors in the next town would hear me!!! The slip on cost me 220.00 and the head pipe would have been about 150.00 more. The dealer told me that the head pipe would not make much difference so I did not get it. You will have to rejet and put on either K&N or pro flo filter.

I have the complete Sparks X6 on my Raptor with stainless head pipe. I too had heard the header wasn't nessisary but that didn't make sense to me. to make power you have to get air in & out. We all know how restrictive the stock Raptor air box & muffler is, why wouldn't the stock header be restrictive also? It was only designed to flow the air of the stock air box & muffler.
My sparks head pipe is a larger diamater than stock, so it should flow the additional air from my modified air box & free flowing Sparks muffler. Raptoid & myself swaped quads while riding at Sahara this week & he said he could tell that my quad had better throttle response than his WB slip on. That would seem to comfirm that the stock head pipe is some what more restrictive.

I have a WB E-Series and LOVE it! I've always delt with WB they make excellent products and have good service. I had a WB built Warrior before my Raptor and it ran great! I deffinatly noticed big power gains when I put the WB silencer on, more low/mid power than top so it pulls hella hard! I'm deffinatly not complaining! I have an E-series on my Raptor as well. Excellent product! More throttle response, more low, much more mid, and even more on top. Surprised a muffler made that much difference on a 4-stroke. Here is another benefit.....at idle and low throttle openings, the E-series is about as loud as the stocker with the baffle removed. So when you need to be reasonably quiet, you can go easy on the throttle, and when you get on the trail, let it rip!
I have'nt removed the end cap yet...so can't comment on that.
I am running 148-150 DJ mains, no lid, pro-flo foam, needles in second groove from top of the DJ needles, and the stock 12 disks.....what are you guys running? WHat changes have you made to get to where you are now dialing in the e-series?
