I have cam piston ported raptor withb aCT fullexhaust and K&N filter. My bike is not running much better than a stock Raptor. The take off is not all that good. I have the pilot 27.5 and i believe the air screw is out to 3 tunrs and 175/180 main jets. Id doesnt bog or anything but I noticed when I wheelie and hit 4th gear the front end drops fast. What should I do bigger main jets?

is it bogging down when on the throttle or backfiring when you let off the throttle? Have you tried different jets or just these sizes.

It doesnt bog at all or backfire. Just loses th epower when i wheelie in 4th gear. These are the only main jets I have used with this setup

you can experiment with the jets but you might want to look into a different counter sprocket maybe one tooth down for more torque

No I know it is not a srocket thing. I had plenty o power stock to hold 4th and 5th gear wheelies. It is in the jetting somewhere

I was wondering. I would hope that after changing all that stuff you would be runing better than stock. I'm sorry but I haven't had any experiance at that level in the engine game.

Call some of the "real" engine builders and get their opinion.Trinity or Four Stroke Tech

I will attenpt to decipher this one

<< have cam piston ported raptor withb aCT fullexhaust and K&N filter. My bike is not running much better than a stock Raptor. The take off is not all that good. >>

The cam and potentially the porting could easily be hurting low end power.

<< I have the pilot 27.5 and i believe the air screw is out to 3 tunrs >>

The pilots are not doing anything but richening the IDLE CIRCUIT.....when you are pulling out and using the throttle, you are not on the pilots. The only way my Raptor would not blow the carbs off was too install 27.5 pilots and adjust the idle circuit adjustment screws for maximum rpm vie a vacuum guage. No more glowing headpipes and no bogs when letting off the gas and getting beck into the throttle.

<< Id doesnt bog or anything but I noticed when I wheelie and hit 4th gear the front end drops fast >>

Does this mean it does'nt wanna pull the front end when you hit the throttle in 4th gear? Or the front end falls when you are riding a wheelie and shift into 4th gear?
Lastly, have you inspected your spark plug?
