I have the E-series slip on with the K&N (and airbox mods) and run the 150/155 mikuni jets without the aftermarket needles. I have run this way for a year now.

I have just ordered an E-series header with the DynoJet kit. I hear that the jet kit with the improved needles provides alot better performance than the stock needls and jets. I am going to install the kit when I install the header.

Go with a Dyno-Jet kit. You can just go up larger on the mains but your cheeting yourself out of some performance. Do it right the first time, take the extra time and make all instructed changes. You wont be sorry!
